Four-year terms for elected officials
Vermont is one of few states where the top elected officials get only a
two-year term in office. This year, some are advocating for a
constitutional amendment to lengthen the term for the governor and
lawmakers. Bob Kinzel hosts a debate on the issue between former
Governor Madeleine Kunin and Frank Bryan, who studies civics and
democracy.
Later in the program, we'll also listen back to some of the voices in the news this week.
