There aren't many measures of how Vermonters are sizing up the Republican presidential candidates, but in the fundraising race, Mitt Romney leads the pack here. We talk with the political analyst Eric Davis about the field of GOP presidential candidates, and which of them are gaining traction with Vermont politicos and primary voters.

Also in the program, what kind of winter should we expect in northern New England? We talk with Mary Ann Jarvela, senior editor of the Old Farmer's Almanac, about predictions for cold and snow. And our series of audio postcards from Vermont towns continues with a visit to Windsor.

You tell us:

Which Republican presidential candidates are you following? Do you have a favorite? Write us your thoughts about the field of GOP hopefuls.

And the Democrats?

Our program on how Vermonters are receiving the Democratic candidates (aired 10/12/07) is available online.
