Critical Whiteness Studies expert Dr. Gail Griffin

Gail Griffin is Parfet Distinguished Professor of Humanities at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, where she also chairs the English Department. She is the author of two books of essays: Calling: Essays on Teaching in the Mother Tongue and Season of the Witch. She has also published many articles, poems and short nonfiction pieces. She has completed a book of essays on whiteness and teaching that she hopes to publish soon. She holds a BA from Northwestern University and a MA, PhD, from University of Virginia.
