Live from Dartmouth College

Dartmouth College is humming with activity as students return to class and the Democratic presidential candidates hit the campus. On Wednesday night, students will be scrutinizing the candidates as they debate at the Hopkins Center on campus. Join Vermont Edition for a live broadcast from Dartmouth College, where we'll talk politics with students and learn how young people are sizing up the presidential race.

Also in the program, government professor Ron Shaiko of the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and Social Sciences explains the art of the focus group: he'll be analyzing the impact candidates make on undecided voters. And VPR's Steve Zind takes us behind the scenes as the campus deals with satellite trucks, Secret Service and competing campaign staffs.
