Ambassador Peter Galbraith on the Iraq War

A collaboration of VPR and the Vermont Humanities Council

Ambassador Peter Galbraith and veteran U.S. diplomat offers his views on the current war in Iraq and considers options available for U.S. Policy in the region. Recorded live at Fletcher Free Library in Burlington and presented in collaboration with the Vermont Humanities Council and their “First Wednesdays” lecture series.

Peter Galbraith is a former U.S. Ambassador in the Clinton administration. Ambassador Galbraith has held senior positions in the United States government and with the United Nations with an emphasis on Iraq. He is the author of "The End of Iraq: How American Incompetence Created a War Without End."
