"I make this recipe every fall as apple season comes around. I like the mix of the walnuts with the apples and prunes, and I especially appreciate the rustic look of the finished tart. Don't let the idea of prunes (dried plums) scare you, they're delicious in this recipe. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or maple yogurt."
