Get our VPR Winged Dog screensaver
VPR's Winged Dog Mascot flies across your screen with our screensaver, free to download right here! Vermont artist Stephen Huneck, a long-time fan of VPR, has been creating flying dogs (and other animals) for VPR: this dog is Stephen's beloved Sally, with some fantasy wings!
Stephen calls the painting which inspired the screensaver "The Kingdom's Muse" -- the original was created to celebrate the launch of VPR's Northeast Kingdom station, WVPA 88.5 FM.
On the VPR screensaver, you'll see our hound flying above beautiful green hills, while the sounds of VPR fill the airwaves. A banner waves in the wind saying "Vermont Public Radio - What a Treat." Sometimes there's more than one dog!
The screensaver files are large, so if you've got a slow net connection they may take a while to download. There's a version for PC and one for Mac. We suggest saving the files somewhere obvious, like your "download" folder or "desktop."
