Chris Albertine, technical director
Chris has more than 15 years experience as an audio engineer. In addition to his work for Vermont Public Radio, he has supervised the sound for television documentaries for the Discovery Channel, Turner Broadcast, and the Arts and Entertainment Network.

Mark Nash, artistic director
Mark has been involved in theatre for nearly 25 years. He has worked as an actor, director, playwright, producer and teacher in Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and is currently the Producing Artistic Director of Vermont Stage Company, the resident professional theatre company at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, in Burlington, Vermont. He has produced critically acclaimed productions of Midwives, A Streetcar Named Desire, Art, Waiting for Godot, Our Town starring Willem Lange, and The Big Random. In addition to his production duties with VSC, Mark teaches acting classes privately and with UVM, has taught in the St.Michael's College education department, and has served as acting coach for Jay Craven's Kingdom County films. Its a tie for his favorite book: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster and The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis.

Leah Hollenberger, Producer
Leah is an award-winning producer whose broadcast career spans 20 years. While Public Relations Director at WFXT in Boston, she co-produced local childrens and public affairs programming before becoming Director of Media Relations for public broadcasting powerhouse WGBH. Leah joined Vermont Public Radio in 2000. Much of her free time is spent chauffeuring her children, Caney and Max, to gymnastics practice or the library and volunteering for River Arts, an arts organization serving Lamoille County. Leahs favorite book as a child was A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett and anything by Beverly Cleary.

Jody Evans, Executive Producer
Jody joined VPR in 1998 as a producer and was promoted to Director of Programming in 1999. As the Director of Programming she supervises the station's regional news and cultural programming, the VPR commentary series, and the popular national programs that air regularly including Car Talk, Morning Edition, Fresh Air and A Prairie Home Companion. Jody previously worked as a television news producer/reporter. Her favorite book is Harper Lees To Kill A Mockingbird, because it was my first grown-up book that my father gave to me.

Kate Robinson, creator
A graduate of Wellesley College and the Columbia University School of Journalism, Kate worked as a journalist, editor and writer in New York City until moving to Vermont in 1996. For 10 years prior to moving to Vermont, Kate was a Features editor and producer, then Senior News Editor at Prodigy Online Services. She also originated online polling and surveys at Prodigy. Her interest in children's development as readers led to the first season of Camel's Hump Radio in 2000.

Peter Engisch, composer, musician, engineer
Peter owns a multi-track recording studio called Ad Astra Recording in Williston, Vermont where Camel's Hump Radio was born. All too fitting, Peter's studio looks out on a stunning view of Camel's Hump Mountain itself! From stage to studio Peter has been in the music business for 20 plus years, having worked on hundreds of projects from Disney to IBM and from Classical to Rap Metal. For the past 10 years, Peter has played piano professionally with his original contemporary jazz trio called Picture This' . At home with wife Anne, they read many a book to their children Evan and Joanna, including Peters favorite, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.
