George Thomas
Host, Jazz
George joined VPR in 2001, bringing more than 25 years of broadcast experience in community radio. Knowledgeable in both jazz and world music, he has hosted on local stations WNCS and WGDR.
A musician with training in classical, jazz and folk, he has also worked with Silo Music Distribution in Waterbury, Vermont and Rounder Records Distribution in Cambridge, MA. He holds a B.A. from Brandeis University.
