Liz Fullerton

Liz began announcing part-time on VPR in 2007. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Liz attended UVM where she earned a BA in Geography. On the day after graduation she got on a plane for an Alaskan summer job, and stayed there for 13 years. After starting in commercial broadcasting she moved over to Public Radio at the Alaska Public Radio Network. Most recently she was the Operations Director for KNBA in Anchorage. When Liz isn’t working or entertaining a toddler she sings with an improv a Capella group, The Way Through. You can hear Liz every other Saturday on VPR.
