Upper Valley Survey Studies Bumblebees

As harvest season winds down, it’s easy to forget who’s responsible for all those juicy tomatoes. Bumblebees. Genus Bombus. But some of these species  are in decline. So the Vermont Center for Ecostudies in White River Junction has been doing a survey in the Upper Valley to learn more about Vermont’s bombus population.

White River Looks For Renaissance In Emerging Arts Scene

White River Junction has been trying to spruce itself up, and bring more economic vitality to the old railroad town. It became an artsy place with the Center for Cartoon Studies and Northern Stage. That initiative seemed to go slightly off track, though, when a big-name music venue closed last month.
