When President Barack Obama ran for office three years ago, he cast himself as a
candidate promising bold change. Although he carried Vermont overwhelmingly, some of his most passionate supporters in the state are readjusting to a
more measured candidate Obama in 2012.

After months of discussion and debate,
Vermonters have been going to the polls throughout the day to decide a host of
statewide races and one federal contest.
VPR has been traveling the state the past couple of weeks to gauge voters' moods heading into
the election. Many Vermonters say jobs and the economy top their list of concerns - a sentiment frequently heard in St. Albans.
