Around 150 volunteers marked the anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in true Vermont fashion Tuesday. They helped cut, stack and deliver firewood to needy families in Lamoille County.

One Vermont group that puts Martin Luther King, Jr.'s notion of service into action is SerVermont, which administers the federal Americorps and VISTA programs and promotes volunteerism and civic engagement throughout the state.
