Attorney General Bill Sorrell has won his
Democratic primary for re-election. Chittenden County State's Attorney T.J. Donovan
bowed out Wednesday morning.
Chittenden County State's Attorney T.J. Donovan says that, as attorney general, he would focus on the problem of prescription drug abuse in Vermont. Donovan is hoping to replace
incumbent Attorney General Bill Sorrell in the Democratic primary in
August.
T.J. Donovan was elected Chittenden County state's
attorney in 2006, and now says the attorney general's office needs new
blood. He's challenging incumbent Bill Sorrell in the Democratic Primary.
