The suit was filed by a former police officer and targets Police Chief Jim Baker and other officers as well as former state public safety commissioner Thomas Tremblay.   

Rutland officials are calling on the community's help as they search for new ways to control drug-related crimes in the city, which has long attracted dealers from western Massachusetts and parts of New York.
