Demonstrators paraded through Vermont's capital city on May Day, calling for health care for all, fair wages and an end to corporate greed.

While the crowds inside the field house at the University of Vermont were cheering President Obama's very presence, outside, some people were protesting what they say are promises the President has failed to live up to since taking office.

A couple-dozen people gathered at Ben and Jerry's corporate headquarters in South Burlington last night to learn more about Occupy Wall Street. The socially-conscious company is officially endorsing the movement.

Police in Brattleboro have removed a tent encampment that a local minister says belonged to Occupy Wall Street activists.

Burlington police are still completing their investigation of the shooting death last week at the Occupy Burlington encampment. Josh Pfenning died in a tent at City Hall Park last week. Police Chief Michael Schirling says his department is waiting for final reports.

"Occupy Wall Street" protesters at City hall Park in Burlington say they will continue their demonstrations against income inequality in America, but they have not returned their encampments to City Hall Park since police evacuated the area.

Burlington police have been investigating Thursday's shooting in City Hall Park at the "Occupy Burlington" encampment. They've identified the 35-year-old man as Josh Pfenning and they suspect his shooting was a suicide.

A homeless man camped on the Brattleboro Town Common in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement, has asked a local church for sanctuary. The church once stood on the Common, and among the many questions the protest has raised is who owns the space now.

Burlington police say they will take "a wait and see approach" to a weekend encampment that a group of Occupy Wall Street protesters are planning in City Hall Park, where camping is banned.
