which then would be put off limits to development.
Flood-weary
voters in a small Lamoille County community have given their village leaders permission
to continue pursuing a land deal that supporters say would both preserve a
floodplain and prevent future development there.
In Cambridge Tuesday night, residents will discuss Jeffersonville’s proposed purchase of land in its floodplain, where Jolley’s Associates once planned a major commercial development.
