for using puppets together with human actors to address weighty themes.
The company’s newest
production explores the inner lives of five elderly puppets with late-stage dementia.
The Department of
Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living
is promising to eliminate a backlog of investigations into whether elderly
Vermonters were abused or neglected. A number of
advocacy groups had threatened to sue the
department if it did not agree to eliminate what they said was a backlog of 300
cases.
