"I am not a Trump fan. I never have been; probably never will be. I was absolutely devastated when he won the election. I could not believe that so many Americans could be so blinded by his hateful rhetoric. I understand that they felt unheard and desperate. So, when he got elected, I tried to keep an open mind. I tried to find a common belief; anything to relate to him. Unless he gets impeached, this will be our president for the next four years (at least), and as Americans, we need to stand behind our president.
"But honestly, there is nothing that he does or says that I can find common ground with. These past 100 +/- days, he has shown me that he is not fit to run this beautiful country. My brother died for this country, and every day I feel that Donald Trump spits on his grave and the reasons that he fought. He speaks and acts like a spoiled, rich fourth grader. He knows nothing of foreign policy, nor does anyone in his cabinet. I am a Democrat, and even though I wasn't a George W. Bush fan (although I found him very funny), I knew that he surrounded himself with smart, capable men that did know what was going on. Trump surrounded himself with billionaire businessmen and a white supremacist. I find myself celebrating his failures (which coincidentally are my triumphs), and look forward to his impeachment.
"On the bright side, he has made me so much more aware of my government, as he dismantles all that I have grown to love and respect about this country. Donald Trump will never be my president, and as I travel to other countries for business or pleasure, I can honestly say that I'm embarrassed to say that I'm American."
