"Like others who voted against Trump, I have accepted that he was elected by a valid, democratic process. I just hate that it happened and I won't just sit back and let him destroy our great nation. The 'Party of No' certainly didn't 'get over it' when Obama won, with their fake news birther conspiracy and all their other stonewalling. Neither should those who see Trump for what he really is.

"But I don't believe Trump recognizes, much less cares, that the majority of Americans disagree with his ideas. He only cares that he has the power to implement his goals — not that he is serving his country, that he is making life better for a majority of Americans or even that he is standing by the campaign promises he made. He is only about serving his interests and those of his family and friends. Further, I don't think he even cares that that electoral process is valid, only that it gave him the win. He would feel just as empowered to push his agenda if he had won by publicly selling out to Putin, completely trashing the Republican party or even shooting someone on the streets of Manhattan. Whatever it took him to win.

"I keep hoping the Republican leadership in Congress will wake up, realize Trump only supports Trump and they impeach him for the obvious laws he and his daughter have broken with their self-sealing actions. Since that's probably not going to happen, I'm hoping that the Democrats get their act together and take back Congress in the next election. I just hope that's before Trump gets us into a war."
