"Ever since the results looked final on November 8th, I've had a sick pit in my stomach. I struggle to explain right and wrong to my kids knowing full well that it is completely relative and largely depends on how rich you are.

"Trump has done nothing to earn my appreciation, and if anything, has proven that we do not care about national security, ethics, hate speech, and many other issues and conflicts of interest enough to take him out of office. He's at least galvanized the left, and proven the right is in it for nobody but themselves. (Many Republicans speaking out against him or his initiatives decided to vote party line recently regardless of their public statements.) I'm struggling to decide if I should leave now or wait, but with all the evidence of Russian connections coming up, I'm losing hope that anyone in power cares enough.

"I pray this is the death rattle of a dying mindset we will be free of (at least in the majority in a handful of years.) Each day of new detestable actions in the White House brings more doubt to the ability of this country to right this downward spiral. It's a hard reality, and baby boomers blaming millennials for it is just sand in the wound ... I wish getting a job was as easy as 'walking in and handing the boss your resume,' as it was in the 70s/80s apparently ... who decided to give us ribbons for participation? These people are also likely to be riding on the last good years of Social Security while we pay in and watch as it's dismantled before we can benefit."
